I am with you, well not in the next few days...but I really wanna get that! I've got the first one down, now it's just growing a pair to hit the next one. Baby steps, I guess...

Yeah I ran into him last Saturday nice guy super friendly.

 

Went there today and helped out Kurt take gallons of water to the hip/jump... he gave me and my buddy some really good tips for beginners... today, finally got to hit those 4 tabletops :bang::bang::bang: thanks to Kurt!

Thanks... it just sucks that I don't get much time to ride kenter... its like I'll ride today and wont be back till maybe 3-4months... I ride Mt. Wilson every weekend since most of my riding buddies are afraid to jump....

 

That's too bad, I am about the lamest jumper of the guys I ride with and I can pretty much hold my own. I love to jump, I'd rather jump than just about anything!

 

I really do want to get better at it... but I get way more DH time than DJ time.... total days that I have been to Whoops for the past 2yrs of biking... 5X #-o

 

^^ I've been there close to that in the past couple weeks, lol. Is Kurt the older guy who rides the green DJ setup? I met a guy in his 50's up there a couple days ago who does some of the building. Really chill guy, he rightfully cautioned about not wearning a helmet up there (it's hardpacked like no other, so I really should be). Anyone heading up this weekend?

 

if i can finish my backyard in one day (saturday) i might be able to hit it up sunday. just in case.

Good deal, I'm probably heading up there today, then all weekend. It's awesome to have that place so close. I definately want to talk with whoever does the trail work up there, Kurt included, and put some time into the jumps up there. Finially getting my feet under me again though, that 4-5 pack is great to get confidence back, now onto the bigger set... So anyone today, bueller...bueller?

 

Anyone got an extra helmet they can bring with them tomorrow? I just called and ordered a full face...finially. BUT it would probably be good to have one around tomorrow, plan on starting some progression on the bigger sets. Thanks guys

 

I might have to work tomrw at 10am. If I dont have work, i'll bring a couple extra helmets.
