they want to release "non violent offenders" from what i understand, these guys don't count since beating the crap and slitting someone's throat sounds kinda violent. Releasing the non violent offenders would probably allow for more resources so that we can keep douche bags like these three locked up for longer time.

You might be surprised to discover just how popular that concept is in our own country. Perhaps it is not tossed around so openly out here in California, but among the more conservative in our fine country, this is a pretty common attitude.

People can be pretty simple animals. Sad.

 

They won't if there first offenders maybe 15 years. Tragic nonethless, think about what you would do if you rode upon a situation like this. I carry a 9mm sig, just in case violence comes my way.

 

Is there a lesson to be learned here?

How long did the girl know these three maniacs, and did they behave as civilized gentleman prior to the point that they tried to kill her?

I certainly don't know the answer, but experience has taught me that people generally behave in a consistent manner, and it's unlikely that THREE individuals would do a complete about-face within the span of a car ride between El Monte and Whittier.

Bad people behave badly, and when they do bad things, you should not be surprised.

So what lesson is to be learned here? Nothing other than what you're momma already told you:
1. Choose your friends wisely.
2. Don't associate with bad people.
3. There is no good reason to be driving around aimlessly at 3 a.m.

 

Fuggin Monsters...That young lady showed a strong will to live. I hope those bastards rot in prison.

 

Wow, she is one tough, bad ass woman. I am so glad those scum bags were dumb enough to return to the scene. Don't know what will happen to them in prison. A good friend of mine works in a prison and a lot of the sex offender/violent inmates who would likely end up dead or beaten are separated for their own protection.

But karma works in mysterious ways, and hopefully they will get what they are due. I'm not an advocate of "eye for an eye," but some people just deserve a good ass-whooping....

 

Sorry to be the one to tell you, but they will not be segregated from main population, nor would they need to be. Unless the victim has relatives serving time and/or has gang affiliation, the crime is not the type other cons will avenge on 'general principal'. If the girl was a child, it would be a different story.

 

Not really an advocate of inmate segregation, but that is what happens at the prison my friend works at, from what he's told me. That's just one prison though, and I'm not all that familiar with the system. Either way, that is a pretty nasty thing they did and I hope life gets 'em one way or another.

This scares the shit out of me, especially as the father of a young girl. I already am in a panic mode for her coming teen years...and she only just turned 11.

This girl should have never been in a situation where she was with three men alone. Never...even if they are friends. It is certainly not her fault...I only wish she could have seen the potential dangers. "Friends" or not, girls need to pay attention to this kind of scenario. I understand she thought they were picking a girlfriend up, but the potential for something going wrong will always be there in this sick society.

These sick &%$^#& better hope the cops find them before the father does. Personally I know how I would handle the situation.......

Dammit....that just set my whole Monday off on the wrong foot. I hope the girl is ok....I hope she recovers and can live a normal life...and I hope to hell these guys get whats coming to them.

Once again, i'd suggest that we leave politics out of this. I seriously doubt that political motivations played any role in the crime.

Well if it's not her fault...it's her parents fault. Bad people are everywhere and one should limit their risk/association with them or at least one would think.

Remember a few years ago, the body of a young woman was found in the road after having been dragged down turnbull? Maybe it was the same people, they never found the culprits.

 

Unbelievable. Hate to admit the thought of these types of possibilities has gone through my mind often on more out of the way trails.....
