Surprised I haven't seen anything on here for this event yet. How many STRers are heading out for an exciting fun-filled weekend in Prescott, AZ? I'll be heading out tomorrow staying through Sunday (maybe Monday if we are still having fun).Looking forward to what looks to be a wet and wild race.
Did it a couple years back and other than be 90+ degs it was really fun. The 12 mile down/up and back... is little brutal but the last 10 miles of so of ST back to town is much fun. Also right before that at the highest point there is usually a full blown party going on ... beer and all. Have fun!
It started to rain as I just left there Friday afternoon after my trip. They were expecting a few days of rain then. Should make for nice trails if it doesn't rain anymore on Saturday as forecast. Have fun!
My first race in 18 years and its the only day for the whole week predicted to have rain. 90% chance at start, decreasing during. Maybe by going slower I will have a chance to dry out by the finish!?!
drove in this afternoon... i can't wait to cross the finish line and let the fiestas begin! by the way prescott brewery has good beer and food.
