PREFACE: I've seen this on other forums I'm on (golf/photography) and usually sparks up quite a bit of activity..dunno..but I'll give it a go (mods - if there is already one of these threads, my apologies, please whip me and merge) -- I went to ride the bike today, and there was a big rip in the side wall (probably should've replaced the tires first when I bought it from CL) #-o wanted some fat tires and got the Continental X-King 2.2 ..I'm liking the look..we'll see how they feel this weekend..
I got another Performance jersey. I like plain solid bright colors for those times I ride in the mountains where the colors might make me more visible to unsuspecting traffic. On sale for $17 so what the heck, might as well get one even though I already have this color. I have been told that I am not a real cyclist because I war Performance jerseys but hey, they keep me alive! Is this noticeable enough? I like the bright visibility colors. I got my third set of brake pads in a month because the local shop can't get my new xtr brakes to shut up. They were contaminated by horsepoop on the trail, they say. New pads replacing the new pads will fix it, they say. It will let everyone know you're coming, they say. lol
