    Looks fun, but.....

.................COLD!! All 24 of you must have had a blast!!!! Riding, partying, hanging out!!! Fun times for sure!! Sadly, all I can see is the snow and cold when I look at the pictures. BRRRRRRRRR My time for riding in Mammth would be spring/summer .. blue skys, puffy white clouds, green trees and flowers are out....and NO SNOW!! Can you tell, "fair weather" girl here.....

    Thanks for sharing the photos.....

Hey Nancy any plans for Mammoth this summer? My cousin rides DH and he wanted to come out (he's in Vermont) and do a Mammoth trip summer. Also I have family friends with a place up there so I might be able to get us a deal.

Ok let me know. BTW have you guys ever ridden in Vermont, my cousin said there are something like 12 resorts with bike parks within 2 hours of him. He said they have some great riding out there. I am thinking about going out there and riding this summer.

I rode a trail in Vermont once, but not for too long--had to get back for a wedding and flew out the next day. Gorgeous area, pretty trails, crappy bike/ski shop; I wouldn't go again without taking my own bike, and possibly someone to ride with :)

Rach, I am free whenever you want to fly me off to exotic places to ride a mountain bike. I'd do that just for you since I am such a giver. ;)

That's all true. Just make sure you have all your own stuff when you go...it ain't SoCal with a high end bike shop on every other corner :)

And oh yeah, learn not to use your brakes AT ALL...especially when the roots get hella greasy from the rain!!

My, that picture looks familiar :) One of my favorite pics of all time:

Great pic up there in the thin air... The Minarets are a totally awesome backdrop.

I know it doesn't really relate to this thread per se, but son Willie took this of me a few years ago in 2006 -- last time we were there for a ride (he was 10 at the time). I look forward to taking him back up there this year (and now my 6-yr-old Toby with his brand spankin' new Ibex as well!). Can't wait for summer...

I like it when the mammoth sign looked like this (I'll be there Sunday after I ride Keyesville tomorrow and Saturday):

Just got back from Chicago and Salt Lake with all the snow and I found myself with a big a$$ grin just thinking about what a great time we had on this trip riding in the snow while in tears from laughing sooo hard...

And who is gonna shovel your deck when it's like that, to get to the firewood to heat the condo up? Trail work at it's finest!

Stash that camera where it is impossible for the Electronic Gremlins to get at it. ;) Speaking of which, I like your sunset / mtbr picture portfolio, keep them coming!
