You're welcome. Looks like there's some caching going on though so the stuff there might not always be fresh. I'll have to look into that.

BTW - clicking on the link in that box will take you to the first unread post (not necessarily the last post in the thread).

    Chrome compatibility?

George, any news as to if the site will work on Chrome again any time soon?

It used to work fine on it, but now it's the only site that I have to use Firefox for...and I much prefer using Chrome. I have the most recent update of Chrome, and running it on a laptop with Vista. Any new ideas/suggestions, or it is just wait and hope?

    An observation and a request

One thing I noticed is that on my PC the site takes longer to refresh than on my Mac (Please no PC vs. Mac debates), dunno why.

One thing I'd like to request is on the old site layout, when I'd open a thread that I had previously read, I would see the last post that was read and continue on from there. Now when I open a previously read thread, I either have to start at the beginning or go to the most recent (the last) post. If I haven't read a thread for a couple days or even hours, I'd have to scroll around and find the last post I read the last time.

On the group page, it used to show the last page in the thread with the most recent posts first. Now, it's the opposite and we have to select the "go to last post" link and that will take you about 10 pages back from the actual last post. From there, you can go to the bottom of that page and select the "Last" link and finally get to the most recent page/posts. I tried the "invert" command on the "Inline Mod" pull down menu and that will only invert the active page, not the thread.

    Thanks!

On the forum page, click on the BLUE arrow next to the beginning of the title......this will take you to the first unread post.

That's what I've been clicking. When the page is loading, I see the last read post. When the page is done loading, it takes me to the last post in the thread, so I have to scroll up or page back to find the last read post

I'm using Firefox, I don't trust Internet Explorer anymore. Oh well, I guess I'll just deal with it.

I go back and forth between, IE, Safari, and Chrome browsers...all work fine, with Chrome probable the fastest loading.

My sister has a more expensive newer computer and when I use my her computer the site takes forever to load. I believe the slow down is her virus scanner...Mcafee, I use NOD32 and even my $200 Netbook with NOD32 loads websites faster than her computer.
