Um.....did Brian Lopes launch UP the stair/rock section leading to Meadows??!!

    I'm wondering if BL has made the switch to 29.. Last I knew, he wasn't too thrilled with the acceleration of a 29 vs the 26.. All the video from the OP was on the 26.

    I dont think he will especially for the trails he rides ad his riding style. Those supper steep ones in laguna arent exactly 29er material. When I was at a buds house who had some dh trails I saw him using both a dh bike and a tallboy lt ( people were switching off). Supper steep fast and flowy, and everytime he was on the dh bike he killed it, but on the tallboy you saw him struggle to get it on line especially those steep corners. I see lopes on the 26

    Holy sweet mother of.....

    I've seen the vid of him launching up those rocks, and I've been there plenty of times myself. But to see his descent going down that sketchy section BEFORE launching the rocks is just plain insane how fast he's going there. If any of you have been here before, you'll know what im talking out, especially the 1ft wide section with the railroad tie!! Nuts!!
