In recent years there have been a lot of riders head to the hills on Turkey Day. I've usually done Maple Springs and met others at 4C who went up Harding. With Maple closed this year and so little parking at Harding (and I've never ridden Harding); I propose Blackstar. The IE people can do Skyline and we can all meet at Beek's. I plan on a social ride, probably have a few cans of recovery drink in my Camelback to enjoy at Beek's. I don't like real early rides, so maybe a 8-9 am start at the Xmas tree farm and meet at Beek's 9:30-10. Any other thoughts? (And then , Tour de Tryptophan?)
Park at Cooks or Modjeska near Santiago Canyon and climb Harding to meet at 4-C at 8am...that's what about half the riders do anyway. And from there it's a "quick" loop to bag the peak and do upper/lower HJ...I've done that a couple of times and been home well before 11am.
^There will be a handful of us doing this, but making the right turn down Joplin for an even quicker loop!
