I like ones that climb, then I drop. I do not like riding horizontal except at warm up. I do not have a lot of extra time so I can only spend 1 hour or so in the saddle a day. Riding horizontal just does not do it for me. So for me..

    1) Stagecoach-Rocky Peak , Hummingbird down loop 55 min up, 35 min down.
    2) Chumash out n back, 60 min up, 20 min down
    3) Rosewood loop. Climb to Angels Rest 40 min up, top of the world-space mtn down 20 min

    Favorite quickie
Space out n 3/4 back, Space out n back (5 min horiz, 50 min climb 16 min drop, 1600 vertical 99% single track)
Wildwood: Stagecoach Bluff, Lizzard Rock drop (60 min, 5 stream crossings, 2 steep climbs, 75% single track)

    Happy daily grind trails

Um, there is no such thing as we kinda want to keep them clear, un-neutered. My favorites will keep my tire tracks till the next day, the very best only have my tire tracks for a long time

Aliso was packed today. Lots of people (hikers and bikers). Good times. For some of us the only way down is up. Haha.

Here out west we have fantastic night riding. If riding alone Space is the place because if you dump hard on the trail someone will be coming by every half hour until about 10:00 pm. Rocky Peak you are alone after sunset, same with Big Sycamore and Third Tunnel (Kanan). Wildwood sometimes gets people so does Cheseboro, but most nights you will be all alone.
    Happy fast night single track

Yeager Mesa and Noble Canyon are definitely on my bucket list to try some day soon. The third one must be off the radar. Shhhh!

I've mostly only ridden in OC in SoCal, so:
    1. San Juan and the upper stuff
    2. Holy Jim to Trabuco
    3. Aliso and LCWP

    4. (breaking the rules) - Chino Hills for the "get way out there" and feel of the park.

    1. SART (from Heart Bar down to Mentone) - nothing compares
    2. Palm Canyon
    3. Wildhorse (short but fantastic)

Now there's a voice from the past - what's up Jeff!

You need to combine #3 with #1 and maybe throw in a climb up from BB lifts to Skyline to get there
