    I think they are trying to control crowds to a point. If you sell to many passes and then have tons of people wanting single day passes you have a big mess as you have to many people there.

    The season pass department told me that if they sell too many that some weekends they wouldn't be able to sell more than 50 day tickets to the public. I should have asked how many season passes they are selling.

    I would guess that this problem will go away in a couple of years when more trails are open and Snow Summit is capable of handling more riders without congestion.
