    The truth will come out some day, too many people around that know what happened.. Then the lying becomes worst than the original story. Isn't a Specialized Mclaren Venge a 18K bike? Maybe be hard to sell them if this happened JRA. The broken bike had his race number on it, curious to see if earlier in the day his backup bikes had his race number on them.

    Explanation #317: That wasn't his race rig at all. Rather a demonstration bike showing the excellent craftsmanship of S-Works CF construction. That somehow ended up on the course. But ironically proves how Bertie could ram his bike through a car-sized hole in the road and NOT break his frame.

    Super glad he didn't break his neck.

    I prefer to believe the conspiracy theories. Rooftop bikes getting tangled up just to convenient. Does anyone know the minimum weight a bike can be in the tour? Bet they need to put weights on those McCarens.

    He's the rider I've been rooting for GC. Looks like that's gone, but I'm so impressed with his mettle at finishing the stage. I hope he's able to get back on the bike tomorrow, but even if not, I am impressed.

    I went into a Specialized flavored LBS yesterday looking for some canti brake pads.
    A guy came up - 'Hi, can I help you?'
    I said 'Yeah, I came to check out that new Specialized break apart road bike'
    He cracked a smile, and then got the serious face...

    what's going on = The race just ended a few minutes ago...

    Vicenso did NOT win the stage! \\:D/
    -I'm not being a spoiler (he had no chance of winning today's stage)
    -You chose a great name for your cat.

    Cool moment of the day...
    one rider crashed into another rider 3k from the finish (big name rider). A few minutes later, the camera panned back to the two riders (as they were pedaling towards the finish)... The guilty party was being scolded, ".... It was your fault.......... Handlebar... Well, it was your fault." Haha.. Awesome!
