Such an awesome shop. Just a shame they are closing. But the prices (with the close out and stuff) is AMAZING!

Kudos to Sherri and the Switchback team for installing a Tora fork I bought back in July (I've been putting off the install). They showed me the features of the fork and how to adjust it. Also picked up some items and a few gifts for family members.

It is very sad to hear the current situation. I dont even want to start looking for another shop to visit/buy from. :(

I will miss Switchback. Bought my Santa Cruz Blur frame from Jason and the man literally spent an hour advising me on set-up such as fork selection, suspension settings and components. There are few shops around staffed by folks with a passion for riding and sharing that passion with others. Unfortunate indeed.

Just wanted to share a very positive experience I had with Tim, Fergus (sp?) and Rich at Switchback. I needed to have a chain installed today and called around all of the local shops and everyone said it would be a 2-3 day turnaround and that is understandable as they probably have a few bikes waiting to be worked on. When I called Switchback and told Fergus what I needed done he said they were pretty busy, but my install would take no time and said "go ahead and bring it in". As promised, bike was done in less than 5 mins and to top it off their part/labor cost less than everyone else quoted me. Thanks! I look forward to bringing you guys more business in the near future!

    +1 to the quick service!

I went in a few weeks ago to try and remove a stuck cassette. I took a whole week of vacation to do nothing but ride, so I really wanted my bike in good working order. Other shops have a waiting period, or you have to schedule them in advance. Switchback had me in and out in like 10 minutes. Well, more like an hour, but the last 50 minutes was me buying a derailleur hanger, a thomson seatpost, and browsing their parts.

I did kind of feel obligated to buy my new cassette from them, but the price differential to jenson was pretty big. I'm making it a point to buy some other things there, though (i.e. - take off handlebars, maybe front shifter, etc).

    Thanks guys!
