Hi STR. How have you been? Let's catch up.

In 2015 our garage burned down and all our bikes were destroyed. We are glad to have had home owners insurance, so now we have bitchen new rides. I found an aluminum Turner Flux before Dave went carbon, so that's good. My wife scored a second hand Juliana 26'er that is mint, again good. So we ride again.

Our San Gabriel mountains have largely recovered from the Station Fire, and trail work has been completed on much of the destroyed trail network. The recent rains blew away a lot of that recent work and the crews are back up doing what they do.

As I age, I find the motivation to ride is harder, but the reward is larger. It's always hard work to climb up a mountain. But the thrill of gravity on the way home is always worth the effort.
