    mucho healin' vibes bro!! can't believe you fell you demigod mtber you... I went to my garage to refill my sealant after i heard about this. Havent checked up on my tires in ~3 months. The rear was nearly bone dry. #-o I rock convereted non UST tires and have had no issues since I went tubeless last year... maybe at my weight it's less of an issue? not sure. But this story is definitely a kick for me to check my tires more regularly. I'm more of the ride and throw the bike aside till next ride guy.

    Look at the tire. It hit so hard that a tube would have exploded as well. Just because it is tubeless it doesn't mean you can't hit it hard enough to destroy the sidewall. Just like when a car hits a curb, if done with enough force it blows the sidewall out. Typically people run less air pressure tubeless because you don't have a tube to pinch. So let's see, tube requries more air to keep the rim and the tube from pinching against the ground. Tubeless has less air pressure which means the same force hit will allow the rim, tire and ground to come together easier. Something has to give and the tire is the weakest link.

    For the video might I suggest "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen (Dougie's favorite group). Dang Mikie! I've been in Ventura for 3 days with the wife for our anniversary and I come back to this? Too bad about the multiple injuries and all that but Northrup should have good insurance so the real question is; How's the bike?
    It's good you're back on the computer to get all that "Mikieness" out even if you have to use a chopstick in your mouth to hit the keys!

    Seriously, I'll be praying for you and turning in my aluminum cans to buy you some tubes! Heal fast so we can ride before school starts unless I win the lottery then I'll be off all the time! One more thing about your crash; See what happens when you don't lower your seat!!!!

    Mikie, healing vibes your way... Question for you... what rim/tire combo are you using? I am on 823s and dual ply minions NON ust and I have never had an issue in the 6 years I have ran this setup as well as my other setups with Maxxis minions.
