Shrinking my photos... even though I am hosting them

Hey guys;

I take these beautiful shots (sometimes) of my rides, and I go to post them, and STR resizes them to 800 x 600 - despite the fact that I am hosting them myself. What gives?

You have the forum width set up as variable, so why are images fixed at 800? Viewing the site on my 1900 x 1200 monitor, an 800 width image looks like a postage stamp
