Danimal is all stealth too! Looks good!
@Herz - I typically have my seat above the bars when climbing and pedaling. Unfortunately, my old bike's lowest seat position had the seat at the bars. This made railing turns on really steep sections a lot of fun, haha I remember lowering my seat and my friend said, "you might want to lower your seat." I replied that it is lowered and his immediate response was I think I have a hack saw we can use to cut your post.

Then, we dropped in off of Ortega on some steepness and I knew why he said that, haha

And I'm loving it! Wheel size isn't the big thing with this bike, but it happens to fit here so I wanted to share. First RR coming soon...

I got it from the Path like 6-7 months ago after i sold my Cannondale Claymore. Supposedly it was the last xl frame on the west coast at that time! Luckily they hooked it up and had a small Process 153 and transfered all the parts over. Dude this bike is one of the best feeling bikes i have ever ridden, just something about how stable and confidence inspiring it is on the descents. Dude i road up harding to Joplin with you about a year ago, you and my buddy kicked my ass, i ran out of food and water, wondering if you remember!?

Glad to see that you're still doing it! Have you been back there? I don't ride the Santa Anas too often any more.

What bike were you riding before the 153?

when we rode i was demoing a carbine 275. After that i got a really good deal on a Claymore but it was just a pain to set up the shock, and it didn't fit me quite right. Also the frame had a lot of noticeable flex under heavy cornering and didn't feel stable at high speed. The process fits me like a glove, super stiff frame, super plush down hill beast, plus i liked bigger wheels for doing longer rides. Too bad your not really in the area anymore, glade to see your still on the bike too!

Any more thought on the Raleigh? I've been thinking about a steel hard tail, and this bike just looks good to me... Especially at the price! Did you swap out the cranks, or did they come standard? I see they are shipping with the "Zee" now.

@salespunk! Love that color, but I am not fast enough nor good enough to ride that, haha.

where did you get your bottle holder? Brand? I am looking to get a bottle for when I do short loops around Whiting so I can leave the camel bak at home.

Beautiful frame, cmeride. Haven't seen that brand of carbon rims before. Is that a Flite saddle?

LOL @ the tire marks on the wall. I would get worried about getting yelled at for that.

That's a good looking bike - very clean lines and form. And I dig the low-level dirty look...it suits a mountain bike!
