Ride up this fireroad to the luge or go all the way to old camp and back down the luge. Finish off your ride with some cold ones at Cook's Corner. Handles rain better then others.

Rode STT/Old Camp/Luge last night. No fire/smoke issues, all good. One general comment about this trail: It is very heavily used on weekends by both hikers and MTBers. Also extremely popular night ride, since it is legal and easily accessible. Parking note: parking on Modjeska Grade Rd has gotten more restricted (although there still is some). Cook's Corner is best bet.

Rode whiting/STT/luge today with three Matt's and a Lance. Awesome conditions right now. Luge was fast and fun.

Rode Whiting, up STT, down the Luge, back out Whiting this afternoon. Most of the mud was dry or very avoidable. May be a good place to go if you want to squeeze a ride in Friday before the storms.

And someone took the STR sticker off the flagpole!:protest:

I was up there this morning also. I rode harding to Joplin then out STT.

I'm riding maple springs to four corners with two other guys from geoladders Friday morning if anyone is interested. At four corners we will decide where to go from there. Posibilities are; Peak or Motorway or just back down MS

Rode STT to Old Camp, and back down this afternoon. The trail is in great shape, with only a few puddles that are almost 100% avoidable. I only had a few mud globules on the legs.

Did this today plus Luge. Luge was in excellent shape. Still a couple small puddles on STT

    Don't forget the proper clothing.

I rode STT today, and with the mostly cloudy conditions and some wind along the ridge thrown in, it was a bit chilly at times. Don't forget those layers when the weather is cool, as it is ussually at least a couple degrees cooler up there than it is just a few miles away from the canyons..

Trail is in good shape. Couple puddles from yesterday's showers. Left the luge alone.

Trail in great condition. Went to Old Camp, skipped the Luge. With only 0.25 inch rain forecast for the weekend, should be good riding.

Just road this today. Trail is a bit muddy in some spots but other than that, it was a great day to ride!

Hit Whiting / STT / Luge / Whiting on Sunday with Pat and Gouge and Whiting was fine, as well as the STT. One thing to look out for are some newer rain ruts on the Luge. Some of these things are exposing some rocks that look hungry for a bite of some sidewalls.

    Sweet

Ride this trail a lot, as I can ride from my house. With the rain over the last few weeks the trail is just in great shape, the luge is running much faster, less rocks!!
Some of the previous wash out spots on the STT have seen even more erosion, making some a little tight if not paying attention!
