yeah, your STP is fine for what you're doing. just need to get a new fork and you'll be good. there's no reason to go all-out on a dirt jumper (unless you just feel like it )

I thought about maybe a double, but that would be more geared towards 4x stuff. FS has no place on straight up jumps/doubles IMO. FS is for going fast and being comfortable. hardtail is the way to go for jumping. more pump, less weight, more fun

but go ahead and get a double anyway gary. I'll come ride it down the 4x track in fontucky for ya

Suspension has no place for straight up jumps/doubles. So you fall short since you have an Argyle. Just ask someone on a BMX.

BMX-even less weight. Even MORE fun!!:bang:

there's a place for suspension. I still case my front wheel into landings from time to time, and suspension saves me there.

and that's the same reason for a little travel on the rear with a DJ bike. it wasn't made to be plush. :)

not a normal occurence, but it does happen. i'd rather have a little squish to save me in those cases. I know if I was riding rigid i'd have been effed...

There were some Folks building things at Sheep Hills, although jumps are surrounded by puddles of waters and mud. Have the bowl got any attention lately? Should something be done while we have these wonderful weather.
