    I've got a road bike like this that I'll sell. It's a Litespeed Classic, a 2000 frame, if I recall. (Frame size is 53cm) Beautiful titanium frame, outfitted very well - you'll have no regrets with this one! Since this isn't the Classified section, please PM me for the info. (It IS a bit higher than your stated budget - but worth it.)

    Like the other members mentioned you can find a good deal on craigslist if you are ok with owning a preowned bike.

    Trek Madone 2005 & up
    Giant TCR lower model

    I was on the same boat searching for a road bike. CR has some killer deals on any model u can think of. With that budget, you can buy us all bikes :)
