Just saw a tweet from Gee Atherton saying that Redbull Rampage has been confirmed for Sept 30 to Oct 3rd 2010.

I will be there. How about you?

Watching the RB Rampage in person would be awesome. As for being there myself... who knows? Maybe.

I'm hoping to have a look-see around the Virgin, Utah area sometime this spring.

I went to the last one and had an awesome time. There is such good riding nearby and watching the event was just insane. My only complaint from the last event was that the spectator areas were a little limited.

I think one of the rules is that you have to be good at jumping on a bike and that pretty much disqualifies me.

Now... if it were a competition for seeing how badly you can hurt yourself by riding over small obstacles I would be in contention.

I can't even imagine how to get out there. Seems like a pretty remote place and that it would help to be connected with someone out there...:-k

I don't really know the rules but it seems you can camp all over the place in Utah.

I am sure someone on here can elaborate.

It's very remote with no amenities.

You must be self contained, or at least that's the way it has been in the past.

Bump. Just made reservations for the weekend. Will do some riding on the JEM trail and spectating with the family on friday, Hiking the narrows of Zion on Saturday, and watching the finals on Sunday. Who else made plans?

Gonna be some HUGE bailouts in this year's event with the 'open' format.

I am heading up on Thursday after work and sticking around until Monday evening. Planning on riding Hurricane Rim to Goulds to JEM, Gooseberry, Grafton Mesa, Flying Monkey, and maybe if time permits head up to Brian Head to ride Dark Hallow or even Thunder mountain. I haven't decided on where to stay yet. I am so amped!

I plan on being there with the new Wife. Kinda of a cool mini honeymoon.

How far is camping from the event? Can we take a moto or ATV from camp to the event site?

Sent you a PM. We should hook up for some rides. Are you guys going to have some sort of booth or do you just get to hang out and 'network'?
