Just some simple guidelines to follow. Most of it is simple common sense.
    1. Be respectful.
    2. Your posts should be constructive. Any member posting for the sole purpose of increasing their post count will have the posts deleted.
    3. Corrections to other’s information should not be condescending in nature. This is a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. You are expected to remain civil and express your thoughts in a mature manner.
    4. Threads are expected to be kept on the original topic. If you want to discuss another subject, feel free to create a new thread in the proper forum.
    5. Posting pornography (ANYTHING over PG13) is prohibited.
    6. You must have a post count above 25 to post a for sale ad.
    7. Anything deemed to be SPAM or SPAM in nature by the admin or moderators will be deleted. Any account used for the sole purpose of advertising a product, company, or service will be deleted.
    8. Any posts or threads about riding known illegal trails will be deleted.
    9. The socaltrailriders.org administrator and moderators reserves the right to edit or delete any post/thread we deem necessary.
    10. Enjoy the ride

Feel free to click on the little [IMG] symbol for any questionable post. It'll alert an admin and then we can decide if it is deletion-worthy.

Please use the search function. Chances are the question you have or the information you are about to post has already been posted.

Simply click on "search" in the brown header near the top of the page and enter a key word(s).

This helps keep information in one place and avoids other users having to answer the same questions multiple times.

Another guideline: When a ride is posted in the Trailhead forum, once the ride is complete, please do not post ride reports or discuss the ride in the same thread. Create a new thread in the Ride Report forum.
