We just got a couple of cool pics of Ryan. One was taken by Scott McClain (Called To Creation) and the other by Phil Beckman (PB Creative).

I love them both and just wanted to share..

Nice pics! FWIW.....do you think you should move his brake levers outboard so he can take advantage of the wide bars? And do you think you should have him learn one-finger braking....he'd have a better grip on the bars?..

His arms aren't that long (he's a little guy) so when we stepped up to this bike his bars were already a bit wider than he's used to but yes might not be a bad idea to move them out slightly to leverage more of the bars.. just don't want to get him outside his comfort zone grip wise. As far as one finger breaking we have already been through that and he knows he would have a stronger grip on the bar, but he keeps going back to 2 fingers.. trying to break him of it... [IMG] Appreciate the input!

No he doesn't usually.. the funny thing is he has like 4 pairs that he wears and we forgot to bring a single pair with us.. we were going to turn around but it would have cost us a big chunk of practice time so he decided he would go gloveless. He won't be gloveless next time.. luckily he didn't crash but it was cold out there in the morning for practice and his hands were pretty cold..

THANKS for all the positive comments on the little guy's race pics.. a "Thanks" button resurfacing sure would be nice but that dead horse has been beat so many times it's not even funny anymore..
