It's been a while since I hopped onto the MTB. I've been riding a lot more Dirt bike over MTB just cause I can cover a lot more distance with a lot less effort. I still like to hop on the MTB for cardio and when my Dirt bike is broken or down for maintenance.

Last weekend I took a quick stroll around Peters Canyon and Santiago Oaks. Peters Canyon the water reservoir was completely dry it's like a desert oasis and trees are growing over it now. Pretty interesting to see the progression of water level going down over the years.

Santiago Oaks was in purrrrrrrrfect condition. There was barely anyone on the trails as people were probably sitting at home watching football. Who the heck cleared all the rocks on Chutes ridge route?? Also the ride down right after the ridge is getting suuuuuuuper bumpy even on my AM bike.

RR are useless without pics so here's a collage I put together. All in all it was a great ride, so get out there and ride!

While we may disagree on some things, that's ok. Nature will dictate what eventually happens, just like in the pictures. Great report and pics that inspires us to sample the advantages we have in our backyard.
