    I did the first one of the series on Sunday. Lots of fun! (if you enjoy uphill TTs like Harding) There are 3, 6, and 9 mile options, but most folks raced the 9 mile. It's much easier than Harding with about a 4-5% average gradient. It can easily be done on a CX bike. The first part of the course is mostly wooded, and you have awesome views of the Pacific towards the top (I wish I had taken my camera to take photos on the way back). The promoter (Uncle Tren) puts on fun events, and his son (who I think is about 6) even did the 3 mile course. BTW, there is one every Sunday in March.
