If you're looking for something to break the ho hum training schedule, this is excellent. I took about 2 months off the bike and started this program. I'm about 2/3 through. I jumped on the bike the other day and felt as strong as ever and had no soreness after the ride. Just before I started, I had only ridden a once every couple of weeks and my winter legs were weak. I struggled up Cholla and it was a wake up call. I went straight into the program from there and it's been awesome. I highly recommend it.

+1 to P90x. But I still rode once a week while I was on the program.

I did P90X for one month last year before my daughter was born and saw amazing results. Unfortunately we spent some time in the hospital with the baby and it derailled me.

Im currently using a system to get back in shape that has seen me drop 35 lbs in a little over 2 months. When I am finished I plan on using P90X to get shredded and lean.

The most amazing part of P90 for me was the flexibility from all the stretching and yoga.... it really improved my athleticism.

I'm 2 weeks into P90X's evil step child, Insanity. I HATE IT!! Shawn T tortures humans. This program was banned at Guantanamo! He is trying to kill me!!

LOL, that's the one I want to try. But I'll probably do P90X first, just to be safe...

I just started Phase 3 of P90x and absolutely love it! The plyometrics and leg workouts in particular help me with strength and endurance on the bike. Yoga and Core Synergistics help me with balance on the bike. The upper body and ab work just makes me look good naked... :)

Great program but be sure to follow the diet guidelines as well.

    ^ LMFAO!

im also on phase 3 of the lean program and am loving it. ive seen pretty good results and am making a video that i may post when i'm done. it really is a lifestyle change that keeps me disciplined in many aspects of life. george (lbmtb) has completed round one of the classic program and leaned out and toned up! i must thank him for getting me into p90x.

    keep pushing play!

 No prob. You're results haven't sucked so far either. A-NON-A, I'll attach some of my before/afters.

Going riding tomorrow for the first time in ages. Interested to see how well this transfers over to the bike.

Just a few stats on my round 1: went from ~164lbs to 147lbs. 19% body fat to 15%. 4 unassisted pull ups to 23+. Dropped 3 pant sizes. Just about every athletic aspect has been improved (strength, cardio, upper body, lower body, core, flexibility).

Yesterday ended my week 1 of p90x+, which has 4 or 5 new videos tossed into the mix. Currently at about the same weight but body fat % is now at 14.5. Goal is to be at 12% by the end of this p90x+ round.

Oh, and sorry about the half naked unflattering photos. 8-[

i was about to start the sparticus work out but this seems a bit better. Does anyone want to trade some copies for your language choice of mac compatible rosetta stone? I think I have 26 languages on my hard drive.

Yeah, P90X rocks. I am 9 wks thru the 13 week program. So far went from 230 to 210, the gut is going away. Way more toned and strong than I was when started. I have also been riding more road in addition to trails, which is really helping the trail strength/endurance. My goal is to get sub -200 by June/July. Although I haven't followed their nutrition program, which is very solid, we have totally changed our eating for the better. I needed a program to kickstart the metabolism and this is it. It feels good to ride and not feel my gut cutting off my wind, you know? It's a progam you love to hate. Find myself yelling "bite me!" at the TV from time to time.

+1 on insanity. If you are a cardio hound, then insanity is the way to go. I obtained the videos a while back and use these workouts to supplement riding while on business trips. I have never been so tired from a video workout, they truly are insane. I personally would have liked to complete more of the p90x but the weight requirements and pullup bar is just not available. For insanity all you need is an empty room.

I'm going to start p90x after the Idyllwild spring Challenge.

Good to see that it's getting good reviews here.
