Why the HD over the SL? I'm seriously considering the Mojo myself. The SL looks a little more versatile to me. The head angle is only .5 different. I guess I'm trying to figure out why would they build bikes so close together in sizing and geometry??? Any how I love how yours came out and white would of been my preferred choice too but now that you have a white Mojo how can I do it and not be called a poser by copying the Mayor?

    Mr. Freak:
-I chose the HD for one reason... Versatility!
(140mm, 160mm rear, 140mm-180mm fork, XC, AM, FR, 26, 27.5", Heavy, Light etc.)

-The HD and the SL-R are quite different!
-The SL-R is one pound lighter
-The SL-R has a lower bottom bracket
-The SL-R head angle is much steeper than a HD160
-SL-R's are generally built lighter than HD's (25-27lb average)
-I can't install my 160mm factory-tuned shock, freeride fork or DH wheelset on a SL-R!

My opinion: The SL-R better suits "most" people's needs (than the HD)

    With regard to frame color:
People would ask me why I copied you.. Not the other way around! :)

Hope to post my two week analysis soon!

The HA difference is 2 degrees when in 160 mode and three in 180. The HD is also significantly stiffer and I believe has less anti-squat built in to the spring curve. There is also no difference in the climbing speed between 140 and 160 mode according to Ibis. I would argue that most people should be buying HD's rather than the SL-R. If you are ever in SD you are welcome to take mine for a spin around La Costa.

Nice dude! We should totally go test it out on some epic rides in the Gabes or something.

Also, I have a few questions:
    1. when are the red links arriving for the suspension? Black links with red hubs and seatpost accents just doesnt seem right.
    2. What's with the mixing XTR and XX1? That's a bike building fashion faux pas, like wearing a striped shirt with plaid shorts...

just messin though, the rig looks sweet. I'm interested to see how you like the 650B stuff too...

The bike is under construction!!! :)
-The original plan was go go 1x11 (twist). The XTR cranks were installed to buy me some time (Do I need 1x11?... Am I happy with 1x10?... Do I need a granny ring?)

-No matter what changes are made in the future, the bike will have Shimano XT brakes and SRAM Twist shifters!!! (Don't care if the fashion police call me out... lol) :)

-There is NO DOUBT about it... I am a fan of the 27.5 wheels!!!
(Still tweaking my suspension... Will post my overall thoughts in a week or so)

With regard to the red links....
They are sitting in a cabinet waiting to be installed. I'm kinda' diggin' the black links.
