Dino, you may be the only person able to generate a 4 page thread in less than 9 hours on a Monday merely by posting your new bike. Beautiful, congrats and welcome back!

Damn nice bike. Do you change the travel when you convert it to 650B?

I'm really happy for you Dino, even though I'm pretty sure this bike may kick me down a notch on 'the list'.

I have always preferred Grip Shifters (cleaner look. lighter. can pull multiple gears at one time)

First thing Freddy did when I placed the Ibis in the bed of my truck was SMILE!!! Two seconds later he made the following quote, "you know Dino, this is really one of those cases where the bike is worth more than the truck."

That's EXACTLY what it means!!! I plan on riding on Sunday!

I would rather tattoo the word Specialized to my forehead than display a Ducks sticker on my bike (The LA Kings sticker has already been ordered)

DEATH before skinny jeans (I don't care what Mike says)

I purchased the bike with a 140mm rear. No problems at all.
If you purchase the 160mm rear, you'll have to reduce travel by a few millimeters.
(I have a spare 160mm rear shock... Will experiment in a month or so)

    -I don't use hydration packs!
-The thought of attaching a water bottle cage to the bottom of the down tube is (in a word) depressing!
-For now, I tuck two water bottles into the rear pockets of my jersey :(

    To be continued...
(observations, changes that will be made etc.)

Nice Dino! I was just reflecting on the Chilao ride we did several years ago. I'll have to pay attention to the ride postings!

It looks very much like a 2x10 with no front derailleur? Dino, is that a manual bail out gear?
