Apparently it's in a chemical bath? I dunno, it just seems like it was sitting on the floor for a week while they did other things. I know a $95 bike frame isn't going to make them as much money as a huge project but a lot of people take frames there. They should make you feel like they care a little. There are a lot of other shops out there that would like the business I'm sure.

I had a frame powder coated by Olympic a few years back. They said it would be done in a week, but ended up getting done in three days.

I don't want my bike to look like a Specialized though.

since this got bumped. I had olympic do a frame of mine, and was only 80% ok with the results. The main tubes and all look awesome, but the bearing areas were masked by a 3 year old.

for 90 bucks i expected better.

I had some mc stuff done recently at Embee Performance and was quite happy with the results.

For $90 I can paint my frame 12x's and not have the cost of fully breaking it down (ie bearings and such) and it looks just as nice while riding it on the trail...
