I used to see the olympic guys at El Morro in the company f-150 all the time.
They ride so they appreciate bikes. They did my y2k Uzzi, and it was quality work.

Here's my wife's(shhh...) frame after olympic. I wanted to do a gold/red combo, but it would have cost me over 2 bills. One color w/o decals would look too generic. So I only had them strip it, and I can polish and paint it a red->plum transparent fade.

Yo your Kona looks great in white. Kona paints their bikes in the worst possible colors. Its like the shades of paint you see at the leftover bargain bin at the paint dept at OSH or Home Depot.
You know the ones that people choose, then decide not to buy it cuz it turned out fugly.
Anyway that Dawg looks sweet man.

Olympic is great! They told me a turn-around time of 1-week, but I ended up getting a call in around 5-days to come pick my frame up.

Isnt the Norco Anodized? Could make it harder to remove without damage.

Any idea how much an LBS would charge to take a bike apart and then put it back together after it's been repainted?

They've told me they can work with ano. But the caveat was that if it's a dark ano color sometimes they can't remove all the color and it could show through a light colored powder coat. If you do a dark color it's not an issue.

At a guess you are looking at $80-120.

There are plenty of guys on here who would probably help you out for a six pack though
