OC Parks mtb tour Final race of 2013 - Casper's Regional Park, November 2nd

Hello Racers,

Here is the info on our last race of the 2013 season, Presented by REI

Where: Capser's Wilderness Park (no dogs allowed in this park).

When: November 2nd, 2013.

The Casper's race is on a rustic course with great views and beautiful oak trees. The Main climb is 2.5 miles long with steep sections and nice flat reliefs. Racers of all levels will find this to be a climbing challenge! The descents are fast, and while there are no rock drops or cliffs, riders need to be careful to ride within their control. All riders will do a short loop, and depending on category at least one long loop. This means that even beginners will come through the venue twice to hear the cheering crowd!

Any details on why the race was cancelled?

 

Well that sucks. I was just heading over to register when I saw that it had been cancelled.

 

lol, same... hopefully the reason for it being cancelled wasn't due to "lack of registrations" ...

 

Seriously, I'm so bummed! I hope this isn't karma for waiting too long to register. I was looking forward to finishing out the series.

Oh well, I guess now I'll have to try to make it out to the Hellride this Saturday instead!

 

seriously???? was gonna be the first race i hit in this years series. got a campsite there and everything for the weekend. anyway looks like will be riding there at the same turtle pace and not feeling so bad with everyone passing me

I showed for Whiting TT and Aliso Park, great turn out. Not sure what happened at O'Neill.
