Anyone interested? 8-8:30 start from El Toro Bikepath by Saddleback Church. Slow-mid uphill pace, not in a race just having some fun. Lots of bailout options. Whole ride is around 19 miles, 3K gain.

That's a strong possibility. E-mail or text on its way.

That was a blast! - Well, except that the rain made STT and the Luge very slippery in spots. I've never gone slower on parts of The Luge. Luckily the return trip through Whiting and the berms at Oakley gave us back the fun that the rain stole on Luge. Thanks Dave! What did we hit, like 3200 ft. of climbing and 19 miles? Oh we also ran into OldSchool, Tom the Bomb and a bunch of others at the bottom of The Luge. Poor guys came all the way from LA to tiptoe down The Luge. Next time, fellas!

Good fun Herz, thanks for coming out! Sure underestimated the "slight chance of rain". That was a slippery sloppy slimefest the last part of STT to the Luge and going down it. Thank goodness those berms are there now or there'd probably be a few over-the-side cases. 19.8 mi and 3250 elev., my legs are feeling it, but well worth it.

Turned out I and some others ended up doing the same ride but we started at 10 from Wahoos... got a sprinkle in the beginning then it was nice. Really like the ride lots of good stuff. Yeah Decent to Luge and Luge a bit sloppy but other wise perfect... Berms are a blast!

Note : There was also a big Trail Angel ride, looks like one took a spill and injured her shoulder EMT / Fire were arriving when we passed. Bummer.

Yeah I had to pull the e brakes going to cactus yesterday as she went down right at the start of cactus. The group said she had taken a fall and injured her arm. Hopefully all is well and nothing is broken. Whiting was in good shape yesterday.
