Wow, this is sick! Great scenery and locations. Glad the 4.5 of you had a good time and made it out safely (for the most part). The pic of Mike looking up at trees and Mat's comment in it's regard was hilarious! Throw in SB's dry sarcastic humor and you're done. Mike, congrats for surviving. No, not the ride but the smack-talking unleashed by Nick and Mat throughout.

Nick deserves credit for the tail light comment ;)

We enjoyed your 4.5 text message from the road.

No, this is not a human condom. It's Scotty cleaning his tent...

I love the coastline in that Ferndale/Petrolia loop. Thanks for the pics. Yes, those logger guys are something else. Stay strong

The only flat between 5 riders and 500 miles of road. Not bad.

Excellent campground! Got to get back here one day for sure.

Patrick's Point State Beach. Another really nice area to camp not too far north of Arcata.

It may not look like much but this was one hell of a hill. We just finished eating a huge breakfast in Ferndale and then Nick and I encountered this on the edge of town as we started the Lost Coast leg of the trip. The climb was about 10% with max grades around maybe 12% and continued with very few interruptions for around 5-8 miles.

I will post more in the coming days.
