Mike Green looked lame..no way he should get the Norris, much less nominated for it.

    2010 Norris Trophy Nominees
    Drew Doughty (Los Angeles Kings)
    Duncan Keith ( Chicago Blackhawks)
    Mike Green (Washington Capitals)

I would love to see Doughty win the award!

    Pro's
    -He is ridiculously talented
-20yr. olds do NOT get nominated unless they are TRULY special
-More complete/versatile than the other two
    -The commissioner loves him
-He played out of his mind during the Olympics
(should NOT factor into voting... i'm sure some voters had not noticed him before that) 8-[

    Con's
    -Not on a glamor team
-Few outside of LA saw him play
    -Limited face-time on ESPN
-Not on a line with mega-stars
-Finished behind Green and Keith in scoring
-Hope voters don't use the "he's young... he'll have 5 before he's done" card

You know, it is nice to see that the Caps were tossed in the first round .... that guy annoys me.

Good luck to DD! I'd love to see him get the Norris....

I am not upset whatsoever about the Kings first round exit. I get the feeling that the Kings are going to be a force to recon with for years to come. This first round exit to me is actually good. They now know what it takes and what playoff hockey is like.

Ducks, Kings, Pens are all out :( so admittedly my interest level has dropped a notch but still, lots of playoff hockey left people! Another game 7 tonight! Who's gunna take it?

Kinda weird that in the east, it will be a 6 or 7 seed vs. an 8 seed to go to the cup. What the???

That's the beauty of the "2nd season!"

I love game sevens...very cool to watch.

I tends to root for the underdogs. I really enjoyed watching the Caps AND the Pens eliminated. Not to offend...if OV or Crosby were on the Kings I would love 'em...but they are not so...:?:

ESPN and NBC love those guys, I wish "they" focused on some of the fantastic players in the Western Conference, however.

He did more than that. He was a spare part who turned into the #1 D after 2 or 3 games. I think that opened a ton of media eyes.

Very true. It's like Tiger and Mickelson not being in a golf tournament. There are other players out there.

I'm thinkin' the same thing. But whoever wins... BEAT MONTREAL!

I don't have a dog in this fight since the Kings got knocked out, but aside from the Sharks, all the teams left are hardcore OG hockey towns and it would be nice to see Chicago(1 of the original 6) and Boston or Montreal(2 more teams of the original 6) go for the cup. I hate San Jose!

As mentioned before, I am sure- I am a Kings fan. Big time. Kings fan to the bone, I don't even have a 2nd team I cheer for.

I love hockey, a lot. More than your "normal" person. After the Kings are out, I just watch because it is such a great sport. However, I am not emotionally invested in any team. I could really care less. I just try to root for the underdog or the non-Canadian team. That decision was made AFTER they won the gold and really saw how arrogant the Canadian fans were.

It would be nice to see the Flyers win. Proving again that the 4th game is the hardest to win and that ANYTHING can happen in the playoffs!

As much as I don't like OV and Cindy, if they were on the Kings, I would change my mind. Just like Patrick Roy, I HATED HIM. However if he was a King, I would have loved him. Oh, and I was shaking in my pants when Cindy was being drafted and it was down to two teams. Cindy was THIS close to being a Duck. That would have been horrid!

    HOW BOUT THEM FLYERS!!!!!!!!

after being down 3-0 in game 7, they score 4 straight goals.

after being down 3 games to 0, they win 4 straight games!!!
