Ya I get the same thing. Try using the "create new event" link. It will do the same function as "new ride".

Another problem is the button for the Calendar. Whenever I click it, it does nothing.:-k

Try this - click on calendar (on the thin brown header near the top of the page) then click on "add new ride or event" "single, all day event" (on the lower right hand side of the page)
complete the info then click "submit ride"

For more visibility of your ride, copy the url from the address bar then paste it in a new thread you create in the Trailhead forum which makes it easier for people to RSVP.

    Here's a test event I just did: http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2339&day=2009-6-23

Tks gene, I saw that , but it seems circular. Where is it supposed to take you? It took me back to the same page I posted the ride on.

    I'm so technologically challenged!!!!

Ya it does, but the RSVP option is available they click on the link. The RSVP function has been messed up for quit sometime now and there doesn't seem to be a fix for it.
