They did trail work on M-Trail a couple weeks ago (after the rain). They filled in all the ruts. Now you can hit all the technical sections with lots of speed. Better wear my knee pads.

    Good luck filling that one.

I am am actually shocked they could fill all the ruts in M Trail. That's a lot of rut to fill in.

Yeah I know. I didn't ride it after the big rain so I have no idea how much worse it got but even before there were some serious rain ruts there.
    Thanks for the info!

It was so bad before the last rain that the last rain actually made it better. Once you get past the first like 20ft its all good.

What?... No Two Trees? That's one of the best trails out there.

Yeah, the way Eric explained it is the logistics of riding Two Trees would be too complicated, because there isn't another rideable trail nearby to get you back to the top since drops you off on the opposite side of the mountain.

There is a way to ride through jeep roads and a housing tract and then Pigeon Pass to get back to the staging area but then you would be riding pavement, etc, just too much asphalt for an Enduro race.

    XC event has been cancelled.

Riverside Enduro event will be a blast, as we are looking to a great time with everyone.

The reason that we do not use 2 tress is 2 reasons. 1 is that there is not a way to get back over the mountain easily or even a spot for shuttle pick up. the other big reason is that there are some people of power that live right there that would make it impossible for us to go back to any of the trails ever again even if we used 2 trees once. Its a bummer because 2 trees would be fun!

Looking forward to the M trail and others!

Unbelievably, they managed to fill in all of the rain ruts. They must have brought in a full dump truck load of dirt to do it. Trails are int he best shape right now.
