    Rebuilt a 2003 Manitou Dorado for a restored Intense M1.

    the damper circuit has no want for shim stacks. I count 4 plus a bottom out circuit and air assisted volume adjustable compression on the spring side.

    I still insist, fork technology has not changed a bit for about 15 years. The riding is different so the tunes are different, and the forks are lighter. But as far as tech, what we have now, we had then. It just took a while for the good stuff to trickle down to trail bikes :)

    Thats not true. Manitou was ahead of its time. Look at the boxxer and 888 of that era. Port orifice dampers.
