Looking for Mammoth riding partner and carpool.....July 12-14

Going to Mammoth, July 12 to July 14.

Leaving West LA, 6-7 pm Friday. Headed back to LA, 2-3 pm Sunday.

Reserved Campsite, Coldwater Campground, right next to Lake Mary.

No showers, no electricity. Campsite can take 2 cars, up to 6 people.

I have a station wagon. Can take 1 rider, possibly two. Not bringing a bike rack. Bikes will be stacked in the back of my wagon on furniture blankets for protection. I got a rack, but I just feel its better that way? You can park in my gated driveway in West LA that weekend.

If you have better arrangements for transport, I can ride with you and chip in for gas. Or you can bring your own car, if thats what you like.

You need your own tent and earplugs. I snore like a wild boar with sinus problems.

You must be chill, posses good vibes and drink beer. This is a no frills Mammoth run. Hope to get 1.5 days of riding done.

How much? Just chip in for the campsite, and split gas if youre riding with me.

I need a ride back from Mammoth on Sunday if you needed someone to split gas. Let me know-

 

gas is cheeper in Bishop than here. After that it gets pricy as you go north

just got back, trails are in great shape, all runs open. I suggest the pipeline trail a must do.

Me too. My wife and I bought the TDI wagon in 09 and find ourselves always driving it unless we must have the room my truck affords. I end up only driving my truck to go Mtn biking and it sits the rest of the time.

Nice bing I think I'm gonna plan a trip for next month just waiting to see if I can get the days off.

 

im probably going one more time this month and august too. i may be unemployed in sept, so am planning a longer stay then too.

for anyone who plans to go up there this weekend without any camping arrangements, we have room for 1 more car at the camp site and a tent or two.

I'm planning on going the 23 of August and coming back the 25th. I was looking at a stay and ride package at the mammoth mountain inn. I'll keep you posted to see if you're interested.

 

That might work in my calendar...if your still looking for a partner.

 

If my wife lends me her van that weekend, maybe we can carpool that one too!
