I did the V 5-6 years ago and it was cake. Sore for 2-3 days and no riding for 2 weeks but after that, I was golden and still am. I can't wait for some chick to claim I got her pregnant. HA, busted!

Mine was also about 3 weeks to be fully confident nothing bad was gonna happen if I got active.

But I had sex within 5 days. Neither of us could hold out any longer without.

 

...um, ouch. I'm sorry but at what point do you decide to tell the wife "it's birth control or i'm out". Having her take the pill (or whatever form she chooses) is easily done (and undone) and happens without any pain what-so-ever. I just can't see EVER giving up "that" ability...regardless of time or circumstance.

Of all my surgeries and injuries, getting snipped was by far the easiest. Just take it easy and you'll be fine. I think most people have issues because the feel so good the day after. A little sore, but not that bad. Especially if you have had the pain of broken limbs, torn knee ligaments, road rash, etc. People get up the next day or two after and try to go weight lifting or mountain biking and have issues.
