Since I can not WAIT for Snow Summit Bike Park to open, I'm gonna get a "jump" (haha...see what I did there?) on my jump skills if anyone would like to join me.

It's gonna be a hot one so I'll be starting early...well, early for me. :)

    Thursday/8:00am/Barten Rd.

So did anyone join you or did you jump around all alone out there? Any videos or stills of your session? Thanks!

Nah, I explored a new trail off the 74 and Palm Canyon Dr. I didn't feel like driving to Sycamore (it's a 50 min drive vs 30 min up to PCD).

I haven't seen ya at any of the OC Race Series - why aren't you racing?

I highly recommend the Ramona Trail. It is a beautiful out and back single (actually more double) track trail. Super easy climb but the switchbacks and step-ups will challenge you. And the descent is pinn it and you'll be grinning it!!

There's two off Palm Canyon Drive and the 74 that have a lot to offer as well.

I'm new to the area and there's not many mtbers (mostly roadies) so it's a little eery being out on these trails solo.

Maybe one day I'll host a ride for ya guys again ...

OTH is not my jurisdiction, only OC Race Series per the divorce agreement... Haha (I kid I kid - well, not really).

You'll have fun!! I just remember meeting you at the Enduro Stuff Race at Whiting.

    I'll be there too!!!

There's a HUGE Girls Gone Riding event going on that day as well. We'll probably out number the boys!!!

So guys, if you're single, there will be mega chicks on MTB bikes on opening day. Bring your best personality and skills if you want to ... ;)

Thanks Rox, I'll have to make sure I remember this info just incase this site goes black again. When I'm out there I see trails leaving the city and I'm always wondering if there rideable or if bikes are aloud? BTW what's the mileage for the Ramona Trail out and back?

I remember meeting you and being in awe as to how this petite lil woman can ride so strong. Does your divorce agreement allow you to ride the NonDot series? I believe Aliso is next on the calendar.

Scan, the 17 mile route is the Mt. Thomas/Ramona Trail ride. Mt. Thomas is a fire road w spectacular views but it's a 10 mile climb before you get to the 5 mile descent. I found the out n back on Ramona much better but then again I've gotten lazy this last year - just give me the DH, climbing are for suckers....lol (only kidding)

I don't race, I only volunteer as a Course Marshall. I'll be there at Aliso. See ya there...right??? :)
