Is it me or are you just not in the mood to buy anything anymore? I think the visual of being there at the sale spurs emotional buying. They do need to do something about the hoarders.

After last year's sale a couple of us said we'd be out riding this year instead. I did! :bang:

The Path wasn't open yet when I finished though  :(

I need brake adapters, nutrition stuff, and a jersey or two. Nothing I can't get on a friday night at The Path.

Jenson has been one of the few financial supporters of this site. They've been doing so for at least a couple years.

Just a reminder, when doing normal purchases from Jenson (this sale aside, I'd bet), if you click on the Jenson banner on STR to get there, STR gets a small portion of the sale. STR's support of Jenson is what helps keep STR up and running - at speeds much higher and more reliable than those 'empty beer' sites.

Thanks Lee  He's right - Jenson is one of the few and the biggest financial supporter. Allows us to not have to run tons of ads across the whole page and pays for our nice server. Also, Jared over at Jenson was an STR member before he was a Jenson employee :)

I just have to say, apart from this epic fail, I've always appreciated Jenson for the service and speedy shipping. This debacle, I hope, will be a good learning experience for them.

Edit: Oh, and this wont affect my future purchasing habits. This is an anomaly. I trust that I will continue to have consistent and good transactions with them on a normal basis.

    Tried the STR>JensonUSA Banner...

They just were not really prepared for the onslaught of internet requests. There are solutions, but they all cost money. Unless they use some sort of lottery system ahead of time to limit the requests....:?:

actually Yes they do, I made SURE that this sale supported STR!

Yup I was on STR on '05 having Shinken teach me all about pain, and LBmtb was my guide at Turnbull when I got air lifted. I didn't start working here till '07, so you could say I have a soft spot for Mi Familia.

That aside, the site should be running smooth(er) now if you have any positive feed back or constructive criticism on ways you feel we could offer these deals to the public and handle this feel free to post, I am monitoring and taking notes.

Thank You Very Much for your patience and comments,
    Jared
