I hate how long it takes to receive something that you bought online and had it delivered to the corona store. Price point takes only a couple days, Jenson takes a couple of weeks. But sometime you can't beat the price.

Which is what I really hate ordering from Jensons. Very annoying when you order something they list as in stock ready to ship, but you dont get to see were its actually coming form. Kills your timeframes for getting your parts.

They have had approx. 6 of the same pairs for months if not longer.... 1 and only 1 of them in XL (My size) that fits me and has some kind of asinine graphic on the side. Big shop, bad selection especially considering the plethora on-line.(Impulse buy, they should try it.... It's a novel idea that works again and again.) Try Cyclery USA they do a great job at it.

    Cheers,

    C.K.

I've ordered quite a bit of stuff over the last few weeks from Jenson. All of it (3 separate orders) were shipped out and delivered very quickly. I placed the orders online, they shipped that night or the next day and were delivered the day after that. Couldn't have asked for much more.
But then again, all the stuff I ordered came from Ontario....nothing from MN...and were shipped to my work in Santa Monica....

I always try and give my business to local (read SoCal) shops when I can and Jenson has always been a good shop.

I ordered some items on Sept 30, they were shipped standard shipping on Sept 30 and were supposed to arrive Oct 1.
Our streets were closed off on the 1st and that evening I receive a call from Matt (guy from Jenson) to let me know they were tracking my package and that it would arrive the next day. I have always received this type of service from them over the years.

They have always shipped quickly, even when the item is not local. If the in-store service is anything like the web service, in my experience, it should be top notch.
The only questions left would be how experienced are the mechanics and do they take pride in their work?

You have the ability to see if in fact the parts are in Ontario or coming from somewhere like QBP. Just put the parts in the cart, hit checkout, click on in-store pickup Ontario, CA, and if it's in the store there won't be any delay shown in red. I agree they really need a better method, but a lot of their business is drop ship from QBP so folks in other parts of the US don't experience the delay.

I just threw a couple items in the cart, couple of which I was sure they wouldn't have at Ontario. Hope this helps.

You can always give me a call in corona, or call ontario and we can let you know what warehouse things are coming from. Also we can order in parts then so you can pay cash later when it comes in. Avoiding using your card info on the web.

I have always been pretty happy with their service. Prices are very reasonable. I usually pick up stuff from the Ontario Warehouse.

I could of got a free pair of shoes and pedals from those guys. I ordered a shoe pedal combo online, opted for in store pickup. Went to pick it up, the guy said it was not ready but to take some pedals and shoes off of the shelf in the store instead. Fine either way I got my new gear.

A few days later I receive a phone call telling me my new shoe and pedal combo was ready for pickup. Yeah crazy huh. Guess he forgot to put it in the system when he told me to pull it off the shelf. Unfortunately my morality got the best of me and I told them I picked them up already. But any untruthful rider would have scored two sets of great gear.

    No, fortunately.

Having morals isn't a bad thing despite what some folks might have you believe.

Such normal behavior is what keeps things going (no matter how slowly sometimes) forward in this world.

    JensonUSA woes

What's up with JensonUSA selling items not in stock without any indication in their website that the item will be back ordered? Happened in my 2 first orders with them. :?:
What a hassle if you are waiting for a replacement part to get your bike ridable.
