The guards actually broke off during transportation & not from riding#-o. I bet you can't wait to get your enduro frame back! Did I hear you say the new one is carbon fiber?

I have never seen a DUC 32 with guards that did not break off. Still a wonderful fork. Paul Turner knows suspension flat out.

That fork is VERY oil sensitive. The only way to tune the compression and better rebound is by oil level and oil weight. If the oil gets dirty or worse low on oil then it would feel terrible.

Also the internal of the fork is all open(open bath system) so oil get get dirty quicker and need oil change more frequent compare to other forks. It also loses oil over time through the open bath system and seals.

Great fork but not a ride and forget type of fork, it requires some TLC.

I'm sure Drake did a great job but make sure you change oil/rebuild at least once a year.

Drake: you work on them pesky DT forks? Mine might need a oil change.

Why so limited? I cant believe you don't service common brands like RST, Spinner or White Brothers.

Just a follow up! I did the legendary Palm Canyon Epic ride yesterday. It's a boulder filled downhill fun run that's about 30 miles long. I'm just amazed at how well this fork performed. It really feels like a super lite weight DH fork & I've had the: monster T, shiver, & White brothers forks in the past. When this fork was new, it felt good, but not this good! Drake is the man!

Just got my fork back from Drake yesterday and he did a killer job! I had him install a firmer coil and Motion Control on my RS Pike. Communication went really smooth, hes great about returning emails quickly. The parts arrived late so Drake did some basic tuneups in addition to the work I requested. A very nice touch if you ask me, especially since it was out of his control.

Leaving now to test it out on dirt :D
