SO I was riding my slopestyle on Monday evening and I finished my ride(which was awesome btw) load up my bike and get moving. I get home and notice that my headbadge is missing and try to backtrack but simply can't remember where I could possibly lost it... Any how I called intense this morning and I spoke with CHAD... Told him the situation and he said that he couldn't SELL me a headbadge because they were part of sticker kits so I asked him to send me a sticker kit and he started laughing and said, "I can't sell it to you but I can send you one at no cost" by this time I got Giddy and told him thank you very much while he took my info... this might be a bogus post to some but.. its those little things which matter MOST...And I love the whole INTENSE experience..!!!

    Cool.

I've been by Intense once to look around and aside from being busy they were very nice people.

Yeti cycles did the same for me too with a headbadge on my Arc a couple months ago. Intense service is awesome too, agreed.

yeah Yeti is pretty bad ass as well.. I got my wife's ASR Sl(pink) because I really like how they do things and how they treat clients. Ordering a hardware kit for the Rear shock was a breeze a few months ago.

Good info to know. My 6 year old Intense is looking kinda beat up. I may have to get new stickers one of these days.

this actually reminds me to ask.. does anyone know if I can take my frame to intense and request the "works" finish? It wouldn't be any time soon the black still looks wonderful.. I just have an itch to find out.

yup also had great CS experience w/ Intense. Years ago I came across a used Tazer FS and noticed a 1.5" crack running along the seam/weld near the shock mount. This was the FSR design (pre-VP sus) with the monocoque frame. Called them up on a Saturday, drove over the same day, only 1 guy working in the shop, he inspected the frame for about a minute, then says "ooh thats no good...so do you want to replace it w/ the same color or do you want to change it up? what color stickers do you want?"

Was out of there 10 mins later w/ a fresh new frame! Awesome company that definitely stands by their products.

Which works are you talking about? The Red/blue or the raw?

I dont think they will repowder coat the frame for you but if I remember right the works is red or blue over gray. I M sure you could get any shop to do it.

I have to completely agree with this Xc... Chad delivered the new rear triangle for my ss2 to sea otter since it wouldn't have shipped in time to race on it. Those guys are awesome.

Intense won't do it for you, but Olympic should be able to. The Works Red and Works Blue is a tinted clear over raw aluminum. If you were to strip the frame raw and then have Olympic coat it with a translucent / tinted clear, you should be able to get a similar look.

And yes, Chad and crew simply rock. One of the many reasons I've been an Intense loyalist going on 8 years now.

This is one of the companies that could have me riding something other than a Santa Cruz when I start my next project.
