Here is the next race for anyone wanting to race again. The Novice course is 12.5 miles, the Sport course is 19 miles and the Expert course is 27 miles. The fee is $35, which is really unexpensive. I want to pre-ride the course, so if anyone is interested send me a message or just post.

I just need to find someone that knows the trails up there, because the course goes through a lot of different trails. I don't feel like getting lost up there, you know.

What course do you want to pre-ride?

The route directions on Geoladders seems pretty straight forward. If you are looking to go exploring and not hammering out the route I could be talked into going. I love new rides and areas that I have not been to. I have done tons of remote rides alone...yet to get lost... although a couple of times I have had to backtrack using my GPS.

Hurkey Creek is a really fun XC course. if you ever go there on a non-race weekend try doing the course counter-clockwise then clockwise for a good 20 miler.

I'm going to pre-ride the course on Saturday at 8:30 if anyone wants to join. I not going to be pedaling at race pace, but most likely will not take any breaks. If no one wants to join me then I guess it will just be my bike, ipod, gps, and myself.
