I currently ride the KA01 Ht Pedals just wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with oil excess coming from the inner bolts/screws. I just don't know if that's normal or is there something wrong, well I was thinking it was normal since I noticed it from both sides.... Just wanted to know if anyone of you are experiencing the same issue.

    thanks

The pedal is supported by two DU bushings and a cartridge bearing. Neither should be leaking oil. Are they new? If they are, wiggle them to see if there is play. If there is play, get them warrantied. If there is no play, just spray some alcohol and wipe them down. The factory could have been a little liberal with grease and the pedals are just weeping excess. This should stop soon.

If they aren't new, have you recently tried to spray oil with them, like WD-40? Spray oil is not good for bikes with the exception of derailleurs and shifters. Spray oil could wash out the internal grease and make them weep oil. I would advise dis-assembly and re-lube them with the proper grease.

    Can't think of anything else.
