Im digging deep here from way out in "off topic" land.

A few houses down from me is a 19-20yr old punk who I think is dealing drugs. He drives a car with a stupid exhaust that lets the entire vicinity know when he is coming and going.

He comes and goes 5-7 times every night it seems.

It ranges to all hours of the night. As early as 7:30pm and as late as 3:30AM.

He leaves for 5 minutes then he comes back.

Our next door neighbor claims to have seen him put something in the bushes outside his house only to have someone else come and pick it up.

A different neighbor claims to have heard conversation between the punk and his Mom about taking his medicine with him.

As a matter of fact I can hear him leaving the neighborhood as I write this (good friggin greif)

What can I do to get law enforcement interested enough to stop him for ANYTHING and search his car or home?

I have no proof and would never get involved enough with this kid to actually have proof but the circumstances are overwhelmingly suspicious.

He has been a thorn in this neighborhoods side for YEARS for disturbing the peace, parking issues etc.

I just want him and his loser mom GONE...

    Any ideas?

    Help

Call the police dept and have the neighbors call as well. It may spark their interest to put a watch on the kid.

Does he ever throw loud parties? Noise complaint could be an easy way to get cops to show up and get the ball rolling. :?:

Ask for your community services officer. Explain the situation and ask what he can do to help you. It's his job, and you might find that he will be glad to help you.

Many years ago, we had a tenant who was a problem. They were a husband, a wife, and two babies. He took drugs, occasionally smacked around the wife, and was basically a white trash tool. He planted a little 10" tall pot plant in the yard.

I called the copper, and explained how I wanted no part of his "property seizure" policies, but requested his help anyway.

He had his crew bust in, seize any contraband, threaten the mother with sending the kids to child protective services, and intimidate the hell out of the father.

I evicted them and they were out within a month and we never heard from them again, until...

Last month the mother spotted my wife at City Hall, and re-introduced herself. She thanked my wife profusely for our actions. The police frightened the couple so much that they got the help they needed: he stopped taking drugs, stopped hitting her, and they both became good parents. The children are teenagers now and they're a happy family.

Moral of the story? Don't be afraid of being a jerk. You may be uncertain of your actions now, but if doing the right thing was easy, then everyone would do it. Make your move now, before other lives become ruined.

Call and call and call. The more you call the more they will make note. They have to make up a report for ALL CALLS. So, keep calling and keep calling every time you see something go down. Dont worry about annoying them, ITS THEIR JOB.

Send a letter to the home owner's association first so it's on record that the person is loud, sell's drugs and whatever else. They might end up calling the cops if they feel like the community is effected by this person.
