Glad to see that there are actually companies hiring out there. Hopefully one will develop into something for someone on this board.

Its super tough out there right now and according to various economists things might get worse not just here in this country but worldwide: Greece and Spain meltdowns causing global market volatility; North and South Korea crisis; U.S. housing market still dead; U.S. banks continue holding thousands of lost homes; U.S. is basically BKed (and still printing money); California unemployment rate does not improve; and what may be the super daddy of them all: China may be entering their own real estate meltdown. God have mercy. [-o-]

The age limit for the Marines is 29 years old, unless something has changed in the last two years. I tried to enlist after I got laid off in Nov. '08 and got rejected because I was 30.

Now that I'm 32, I got laid off two weeks ago and I'd reenlist if I could...

My customer is looking to hire sales rep. for the POS, printable graphic films market. Most of the sales would be through distributors, so you would need both distribution sales and graphics sales experience. PM me if interested

I think you're right. 34 is for prior service only , and after you've deducted your actual active duty time from your present age. A bit complicated. I tried going back in years ago, but wasn't able to. I guess when you're over 34 you can't kill the enemy as hard as when you're 34 and under...:-({|=

Before moving to CA I was 175 lbs and pretty ripped. Could ride 80mi. mtb, 125mi road, carry a 90lbs pack all day, run 8 mi, swim, etc... two years, and an office job later, I'm 215lbs and can hardly run a mile, barely bike 12mi and have never been in worse shape in my life. CA has made me weak and soft. But I still have good eyes and am a good long range shot, so I could still kill the enemy well enough... and boot camp would whip my a$$ into shape...

I am still looking for a few more guys. We are starting off slow and low at $15 per hour, plus a lunch allowance, and a company truck. It can be labor intensive, meaning lots of shovel work for the base material and sand. (Artificial Grass Installs) This depends on the size of the job, and our time frame for completion.

The position will also require communication with the home/business owners, and of course 20 neighbors that stop buy and want more information.

If you happen to sell a job, we pay very good commission.

We have an opening for 30-35 hours a week starting, and of course just goes up from there.

Let me know if anyone else is still interested. I pay $12 per hour under the table for a couple of days of training to see if you like the work. I have a training opening on Wed. if anyone wants to come sweat their ass off and learn my business.
    shoot me an email.
