    I am looking for a 24" x 2.5-2.8 Downhill tire.

First, can I get advice on a brand/model..the only catch is that they must make a 24" version. I wanted to pick up the "renowned" Michelin 32DH, but I don't think they make a 24".

Second. does anyone know of someplace online that I might be able to purchase one? I called all the local shops and the closest I found was a 24x2.1 Specialized. Im probably going to pick it up for this weekends ride, however the tire that I shredded on my last ride, was this exact one.

The tire is for my rear wheel (I ride a specialized big hit 03, which runs 24" in the rear)

I would love to get it by Saturday, so if there is anyone on here that works at/knows of a shop in socal, that can get it delivered by Saturday, I would gladly pay the extra fees, etc.

I wasnt sure where to post this, at first I though Marketplace as a WTB, but I don't have enough post, and I'm looking for advice. Please move/delete if this is the wrong place for this.

    Thank you in advance!

has lots to choose from....not sure how it works being we are from US, but I think they sell to US. If not atleast it gives you an idea of some tires to find elsewhere

also, i hear the maxxis minion are good

Check out Arrow Racing's website, they have a number of 24" downhill tires. And you can get them through Adrenaline Bikes, I think. I have one of their 26" tires (ramped bite) and it is great.

Thank you all for your help. I ended up picking up:

    Maxxis Highroller-DH W tire, 24 x 2.5" MP-60
    Maxxis Minion-DHF W tire, 26 x 2.7" 3C

    From Ride-This.com

bighit8, thank you for the offer. I have some coming my way, but if you don't get any other offers and wouldn't mind shipping it, i could paypal you the cost of shipping.

Thanks again to everyone who posted and helped me out.
    You all rock!
