He wasn't using a crosswalk so it cancels that!

    Must have been NY.

But really why is he riding the wrong way on what looks to be a one way street.

Didn't his parents teach him to look both ways before you cross the street. Regardless if its a one way street or not i think the bike rider is at fault, but still you should not cross blindly. Especially in NY. lol

I'm sorry but I do find it pretty funny. Ol boy took a good hit and did a nice roll. It would have been classic if he would have slugged the guy. But you could tell he knew he was in the wrong too. The not using a crosswalk so it cancels that remark was classic. lol

Hey, I laughed out loud it was so funny.

Cyclist was a little too cavalier in trying to justify his illegal riding, especially since he was reading when he should have been paying attention. He's lucky there wasn't a vehicle pulling out or oncoming.

Ped should have been a crosswalk, but more importantly, should have looked both ways.

Both are total douche bags and deserved exactly what happened. Too bad the cyclist didn't suffer equally though.

No helmet, wrong way on a one way street; in a world that needs so much, it's nice to see organ donors like him -- warms my heart really.

As for the poor ped, he was looking the direction of traffic on what seems to be a one way street and if it is NY, while not making it right, crosswalks aren't the only areas of ped traffic in the road. I think he deserved an apology :?:

Funny how human nature seems to be "blame the other guy and shirk all responsibility" when something happens.

What you said Jungle Lady! Cyclist at fault 100% if it is in fact a one way street and he's going the wrong way.
How can the ped be held accountable if he's looking in the direction traffic should be coming from.
I need to edit this to state my opinion that the cyclist is indeed an Ahole!
