Have you missed me? Evidently I was on a typical Aliso ride on Sunday with a buddy and slipped out at the little step-up towards the top of Lynx. I don't remember. Woke up yesterday in Mission hospital with my face rearranged and my shoulder in a sling from a dislocation. Oooops. Just got home from hospital. I think I'll be off the bike for a few weeks. #-o I'll see if my buddy has any pics.
Wow! Glad you're well enough to post. Its always the one we don't see that takes us down hardest. Heal up.
Holy!! Crap! Glad you're ok, well kinda... Face rearranged? what does that mean? You were out for a day? Holy coma? Man you are one lucky dude!
Yes, thanks to your experience, I am extra cautious zipping past the rock on the left that took you out. I used to love that little step-up 75 yards down trail. I may need to be more cautious there now too.
Sorry to hear it. Sounds like a concussion plus a face plant. Hope you get well soon and make a full recovery. Prayers sent.
ya if its a concussion take it easy especially if you get headaches when you exercise again in a few weeks, you need to stop and prevent the headaches -- heal up
Damm dude!! Can't leave you alone for a minute.... Did they fix your face to look like Aaron Gwin?? Heal up my friend!!
My friend put my arm in a sling made from his Yeti t-shirt and walked me back to the top of Cholla. A couple of younger dudes helped. His wife initially came to pick us up in her car, but that didn't work so they called an ambulance. I have no memory of any of this.
Wow, glad you are ok, and hope you are well soon. Jeremy told me you went down, didn't realize it was this bad! Eric R - Jeremy's (from work) brother
Well now we have Dave's rock and Chris' step-up on the first 100 yards of Lynx. That step-up is a hoot, but I remember that lefter right before the step-up being a little slippery at times, maybe the water from the storms pools there and leaves it gooey/slippery. Know you've done that hundreds of times very quickly, some odd times the stuff jumps out and bites like that (damn rock). You'll be back at it soon. :bang:
